TRG-300 Tiger

The TRG-300 Tiger (also known as TRG-300 Kasirga) multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) system is a modern missile launching system developed for the Turkish Armed Forces. It is manufactured by Turkish weapons manufacturer and defense contractor Roketsan.

The system has four 300 mm rocket launcher tubes and its rockets can hit a maximum range of 120 km.

The system can fire the TRG-300 Tiger missile, which comes in two different variants block I & block II

Block I

Block I  has greater  range with a smaller warhead than Block II:

• Range: 30–120 km
• Weight: 585 kg
• Warhead weight: 105 kg
• Warhead effective radius: ≥ 70 m

Block II

Block II  has a enhanced warhead dynamic effected:

• Range: 20–90 km
• Weight: 670 kg
• Warhead weight: 190 kg
• Warhead effective radius: ≥ 80 m

According to Roketsan, guidance for both TRG-300 variants is provided by GPS and aided by an inertial navigation system. Both missiles feature aerodynamic control with an electromechanical actuation system.

TIGER Missile can be launched from the RoketsanTigerMulti Barrel Rocket Launcher (MBRL) Weapon System, MCL (Multi-Caliber Launcher) Weapon System, and other platforms with compatible interfaces.
